Interesting.....
Certainly Condit hasn't been found guilty of anything yet, but what's the saying; you are known by your peers? Jim, that's not the best of cohorts...
"Only Rep. Gary Condit, D-Calif., who was defeated in a primary for re-election after he was romantically linked with Chandra Levy, a government intern who was murdered, voted against Traficant's expulsion. "

"She's called "The Boot Lady." Drivers unfortunate enough to park in
Cat Crosby's assigned parking spaces in Alexandria, Va., likely will
meet her because she watches for violations from her monitor camera in
her office and when she spies one, she attaches one of those parking
boots on the car -- so it cannot be moved.
The Washington Post reports several times a week there is a
confrontation -- drivers who don't believe a private citizen can boot
a vehicle and Crosby, who won't remove the boot until the offender
pays her a $25 fine. Police are called, the paper says, to smooth
things over and to tell angry drivers it actually is legal for Crosby
to boot their vehicle.
Crosby, who runs Kiniko Industrial Corp., works at an office complex
where parking is scarce and coveted. Businesses are assigned a
specific number of spaces."
I hate to be cliche, but: You go, girl! Hope you can spread out and do the same to those who take up two spaces, or leave their car idling in the walkway in front of the store/shop.

First Amendment? Only if we agree with you.
It's funny that Tipper 'PMRC' Gore should be associated with this. Again, she's affiliated with striking down free speech and the First Amendment.

The death--no, murder--of Internet radio
"Hilary Rosen of the Recording Industry Association of America says this issue shouldn't be presented as big labels vs. mom-and-pop operations: [Even though that's exactly what it is.] "If you don't have a business model that sustains your costs, it sounds harsh, but that's real life. If a grocery store can't afford to pay for the vegetables, they can't keep their doors open."
Likewise, Hilary, if you can't make a profit, if your profits are down, you make a better product, cut prices, cut costs, offer some incentive to purchase your product...Wait, no you don't--you insult and accuse your customers of thievery, you used flawed statistics to "prove" your point, even though your product [and that's what it is, pure churned out product] is vastly inferior to what it used to be, and you get back in bed with the Congresscritters to have them pass legislation helping you, even though that legislation is inconsistent even compared to its previous incarnation "This new fee — which traditional over-the-air radio stations don't pay — goes to record companies."
If you wouldn't push the same old crap, we might buy it, Hilary. Oh, or is it racism that we don't buy it?
