Faux fireplaces get some respect

WTF??? How about the 13 victims, ten of whom are dead? They picked the wrong week to be on the other side of a sniping coward's bullet; where's the sympathy for them? Instead, we get not-so-veiled allusions and references to Iran and Saudi Arabia, saying we're like them because we might put this psycho punk to death.

Halfway down:

While that limit may seem a little low, I think many would agree that it is a logical step--does finding a hair in your burger really cause multiple millions of dollars worth of 'pain and suffering?'
But wait, who might not like a limit on that?

Trial lawyers benefiting from big verdicts? Most powerful Democratic consitutencies? Why, I thought the Democratic party was the party of the people, the 'common man.' I thought wanting to be rich and make lots of money was an eeee-vil, right-wing, rape-the-earth kind of ideal. What? You mean Democrats like money too? Only they lie about it, and tax the common man so he can never make it into the 'top 10%' of the population [unless he turns into a politician]? I never would have guessed.
If you have a principle, which is thought out and held with reason, then stand by it and be confident in it. If not, sit down, quit polling to find what you should believe today, and quit being the hypocritical SOB's you know you are.
