Ok, it's official--residents of Palm Beach County, and maybe all of Florida, should no longer be allowed to vote or voice any opinion whatsoever. It's bad enough they allegedly couldn't understand a ballot back in Y2K [and Mr Gore, please, sit down and shut up. It's been over for two years now], but this is just ridiculous. This is just wrong.

I guess it's symptomatic--the cry of today, especially of the left and ACLU and defense lawyers etc is 'It's not my fault' which eventually results in miscarriages of justice like this one. Which only harms the cases in which it's actually *not* the person's fault, due to actual cases of negligence, defectiveness, etc.

To paraphrase Harry Hartounian in the movie The Jerk, 'We don't have defective guns, we have a defective person!'
