Gore: 2000 verdict was ‘crushing’ Sigh....He didn't 'concede', he 'lost'....There were votes and ballots around the country that were either not counted, lost, or were counted twice. Including some that shouldn't have been counted in the first place.
"I respect the rule of law"..?...When did that start? If you did, it wouldn't have had to go to the US Supreme Court...

"he “absolutely” believed he would become president"
"Tipper, said in the Post interview, “I still believe we won.” "

Isn't that a basic definition of insanity, the failure to recognize something as real, no matter how real it is?

", adding that he wishes he had not sighed audibly during the opening debate while Bush was talking. “I was exasperated by some of the things, a lot of the things, that he was saying,” he said"

If a mere debate does that to you, Al, what would happen when you're facing Hussein or Kim across a bargaining table?

And yes, to preempt the arguments; no matter how many single and discrete votes are for whomever, we do, for better or worse, have an electoral system. If you don't like it, the time to change it is now, not during an election when it gives you a result you don't like.
